Riverside

An investment group with several events on the calendar every year. One is an internal retreat and learning expo. Another is an investor meeting where every number, graphic and revision is scrutinized.

We started in 2019 building the LED wall content and running the media servers on site.

The show still had to happen, with nobody in a room together.

They took it fully virtual. Brad Jones had been hired to produce and edit the whole thing, with a small crew on site and CT as the video vendor, shooting the “live” segments that would be cut into the finished pieces. It was too much for one person.

We got the call during lockdown and were on the first flight out. Every deliverable landed on time. That is where our editorial relationship with Brad started.

The next few years ran the same way, and all of it rode on us. Whatever was shot, we cut. Some of it we shot ourselves against green screen and finished with the VFX to place it in the show.

We also carried some of the LED graphics on the “live” set. Another content company handled the bulk of them; we filled the gaps, because we were already there and already knew the show.

Every graph and every dollar amount in that stream went out under their name.

The group keeps its own person on the internal decks, and those decks move constantly - hundreds of revisions across the few days of an event. Writing them or correcting them was never our job. Ours was to be certain we had the current file and used the current file, every single time. The economy moves, the markets move, world politics move, and the numbers move with them. Through the Covid years that sat squarely on us and on Brad.

The show runs in a room again.

We cut the live dailies CT produces and get them ready for the stream. The format changed; the scrutiny did not.

Wall content, then full editorial through Covid, then cutting the live streams CT shoots. Three different formats; the work stayed.
